Positive Affirmations & Positive Sayings

Law of Attraction - Oprah Success Secret Video Part 1

Noah St. John has created a new word: afformation. While most people focus on affirmations, he explained that using afformation is more effective. Affirmation comes from the Latin word firmare, which means "to make firm" while afformation comes from formare which means "to form." As Noah comments, "What if you are making firm something but in the wrong form?"

Although the speaker asks an excellent question, this video does not show exactly how to form what a person is envisioning for himself in his mind.

Key Points from this Inspirational Video:

  • Law of Sowing and Reaping: As you sow, so shall ye reap.
  • What you focus on grows.
  • Most people ask "lousy questions" that create "lousy answers," hence a "lousy life"
  • Affirmation = "firmare: make firm" vs. Afformation = "formare: to form"
  • We need to be conscious about the questions we ask to take control of our lives

Overall Rating (1-5): 3

Entertainment Rating (1-5): 2

Not very entertaining.

Instructional Rating (1-5): 3

He made some excellent observations regarding "asking the right questions" and focusing one's energy to be successful and productive. However, the video does not show the most important aspect to the viewer, which is application.

Sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to Lailani Mendoza for this in-depth inspirational video review!
