Eight Year Old Cracks The Code to Happy Thought - Video

Take a glass of cranberry juice, a pitcher of water and a smart, eight-year-old girl and what do you get? The secret to happy thoughts!

In this simple yet profound presentation, a young girl shows that happy thoughts are ours for the taking when we follow her example. She used a glass of cranberry juice to represent bad thoughts in the mind. Then, she poured the pitcher of water (representing happy thoughts) into the glass, which made the cranberry juice (or what was left of it) as clear as water. Flood your mind with happy thoughts and make the negativity disappear!

Key Points from this Inspirational Video:

  • Negative thoughts reside in the mind.

I am not afraid. I love my new feelings of calm and joy.

Because my life is filled with calm and joy, I am not afraid of the future. I let go of things I cannot control and enjoy this moment that I am in.

I let stress and negativity flow through me unimpeded and choose instead to feed positive thoughts, knowing that what I nurture will grow and expand in me, squeezing out those thoughts that I choose to neglect.

Peace is my natural state of being. Over time I have learned to respond with fear and tension, but I know that I was not created to be this way. As I practice allowing peace into my mind, I am making it easier and easier for myself to return to my natural state of childlike confidence in my Provider and in the strength with which He has equipped me.

I know that my new state of peacefulness is leading me toward greater health and creativity. I look forward to the future.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. How do I respond when negative thoughts pop up in my mind?
  2. What evidence do I see in my life of an increasing trend toward peaceful living?
  3. How has my life improved since I decided to foster peace in my life?

I can confine my concerns into a manageable format.

It is natural to have concerns. My concerns can help me identify worry and anxiety. By recognizing my concerns I can take actions to soothe my nerves and eliminate doubts.

Each concern I have is a thread. These threads occasionally enter my mind. When I ignore my concerns, I create an untidy and unmanageable tangle of threads.

I can take control of my life by addressing my concerns and organizing my thoughts. This allows me to loosen the threads, untangle them, and see each strand clearly.

By seeing my concerns as individual threads, I can manage them effectively. This allows me to be objective. I am able to organize my worries and address them in a practical way. I see where each concern begins and where it ends. I assess the value each concern may have in my life. Once I recognize my fears, I choose to move beyond them.

My mind is unburdened by the release of unnecessary and unhelpful worries. Eliminating troublesome concerns from my head is as easy as pulling a loose sting from my mind and throwing it to the wind. Organizing my thoughts and ridding myself of unproductive concerns is liberating.

Since I am in control of my thoughts, I do not allow my concerns to become an unmanageable jumble in my mind. I refuse to accumulate anxiety, so I deal with concerns in a rational manner. This allows me the freedom to release my worries and eliminate negative thoughts.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. Have I ignored my concerns and allowed anxiety to accumulate in my mind?
  2. Can I look at each concern separately and decide why I give this concern space in my mind?
  3. How can use positive thoughts and action to eliminate needless worries from my life and soothe recurring worries?

I react well in the presence of chaos.

I do not allow chaos to get the best of me. I am calm and in control of my emotions.

Disorder cannot steal my peace because my peace comes from above and not from my surroundings.

I do not lose my temper. Losing control in the midst of chaos only produces more chaos. When I feel myself getting anxious, I stop and give myself time to think before I act.

I believe that my actions are a representation of what is in my heart. Therefore, I fill my heart with positive things. My heart overflows with wisdom, joy, peace, love, and faith. When I react, these are the things that come out of me.

When a difficult situation arises, I know what to do because I am resourceful. I think outside the box and work toward solutions. Failure cannot deter me. Failures are necessary in life to prevent me from becoming complacent.

I am resilient under pressure. Staying motivated is the key to my success. My goals are clear and I make sure that all my actions bring me closer to my goals. I strive to live a life with no regrets.

Being responsible and preparing properly for situations helps me avoid chaos. When circumstances are beyond my control and I find myself in the midst of chaos, I do not drown in it. I use positive thoughts as my life-saver.

I keep things in perspective, reminding myself that this too shall pass. By keeping the big picture in mind I can overcome any storm.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. What do I do when I feel myself getting anxious?
  2. What are the things that fill my heart?
  3. How can I better prepare myself to avoid chaos?
