I can boost my abilities through self-reflection because this tool has always been within me.

I have been given the tools to help me succeed in life. I will rely on these tools to help me become a better person. Self-reflection is a reliable and useful tool because I can look within myself to identify my abilities and boost my talents.

I do not need to rely on others to identify my talents. Though I may value the thoughts of my friends, my family, and my coworkers, I realize my passion is not defined by their opinions.

I know my own abilities best because I am aware of all of my desires. I know what hopes I have long harbored in my heart. Through self-reflection I can find my true talents.

My talents and capabilities become evident to me through self-reflection. Only I know the full value of my life experiences. Only I can determine my goals. Whether I want to improve my personal relationships, seek recognition at work, take on a new project, only I can ultimately decide the best plan of action.

It is my responsibility to identify my skills and to share them with others. When I evaluate my abilities, I am honest because I have nothing to hide. A truthful assessment of my talents will help me develop my skills.

Self-improvement begins by considering the things I have done well and the areas where I can improve. I can identify my strengths and weaknesses by honest self-evaluation. And through this, I can find ways to live a fuller life.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  2. Have I relied on other people to define who I am and which skills I should develop?

My faults do not control me, nor do they define me. They are my stepping-stones to an improved me, and they remind me of the level of my potential. Without my faults, I would not have any measure of how far I have come. They are the reasons for my renewed passion and ultimate success.

I do not consider my faults as hindrances or setbacks. My faults allow me to discover my true talents by prodding me to keep moving and striving for the best. They are the little agitators that tickle my brain to seek out change.

The greatest part about my faults is that they keep me grounded. If I am deemed as "perfect," then how can I ever develop further? Without them, what kinds of things would I have to look forward to? How will I ever know what I could really accomplish?

What a relief it is to know that my faults are temporary. With some time and a little bit of work, I can alter them, fix them, or delete them entirely. How I choose to treat them is entirely within my control. I remain in charge of my faults, and I consistently utilize them to challenge me to do more, be more, and want more.

Self-Reflection Questions:
