The Five Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman, Ross Campbell
Book Review
The Five Love Languages of Children
This is an outstanding book, and the fact that more than 600,000 copies have been sold is a testament to the quality of the message within. The authors Gary Chapman and Ross Campbell have written this book to help convey how children express and receive love, they contend that it is with one of five different styles of communication. The problem that a lot of parents and their children run into is that sometimes the love language of the parent is vastly different from that of the child, which can cause the child to have hurt feelings and just not feel understood.
The goal of this book is to help the adult readers determine what their child’s love language is, and how they can more effectively love their child in their communication style. This book can help any parent understand their child more and the end result is always a deeper more profound bond as the child grows.
This book is recommended for people who are:
- Parents
- Struggling with a child
- Seeking to connect better to their child
- Having misunderstandings with their child
- Feeling guilty about mistakenly hurting their child’s feelings
The top 3 reasons you may enjoy this book:
- It gives you insight into your child
- You can have a more affectionate and loving relationship
- It offers solutions
Sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to Rachel Johnson for this in-depth book review!
