Moisturizing Our Skin Video

by Rachel Johnson on April 21st, 2009

In this video the viewer will learn all about their skin and how our skin is able to moisturize itself.  We often think deep cleansers, lotions, and creams are needed but this is not necessarily true.  Our body is able to keep our skin moist through the production of sebum and natural moisturizing factors.

This video will surprise many viewers because they will find that a lot of the products that they are using are taking away from the skin instead of benefiting it.  This is a great video for anyone who has skin problems as they may learn how to better care for their skin.  Being educated about your skin can help you improve its health overall.

Key Points from this Video:

  • You don’t necessarily need water to keep your skin hydrated.
  • Your skin contains a natural moisturizer, sebum.
  • We should make sure we are putting organic products on our skin.
  • Sebum helps to product our skin.
  • Sebum production varies from season to season.
