This helpful book should be read by everyone; in fact it should be considered required reading by everyone when they become an adult. Miss Ruder gets to the bottom of being happy and in the book she welcomes the readers into her lives, her experiences, and lets them know how she has been able to stay happy despite some rough patches. Ruder offers some great insight that is based on science as well as personal experience and beliefs.
In the book readers will learn Ruder’s theory that we are not happy because of what has happened in our lives, but because of our attitudes about what we have had happen to us. She also believes that so much of our happiness is dependent upon genes, but that we can overcome negative thought, self defeating inner dialog, and more. At the end of the book you’ll be choosing to be happy regardless of age, situation, or life experience.
