The Last Lecture (Inspirational Story) by Randy Pausch and Jeffrey Zaslow
Book Review
This is a moving book that will have you considering how much time you have left to do what you want to do and make the impacts that you want to make in this world. Author Randy Pausch has written a motivational memoir of sorts that he has entitled The Last Lecture. A lot of professors and speakers use this title, but few have actually experienced what it would be like to truly be giving your last lecture. Pausch had this experience because he was asked to give a lecture just after learning that he has terminal cancer.
In this book he recounts the lecture he created about reaching for childhood dreams and overcoming obstacles. The lecture would go on to mean so much more than any other lecture because it was something he really had to do, he had to seize the day and live like this was his last lecture. This is a moving book that leaves the reader anxious to reach their dreams and make the most out of every day, because it could be your last.
This book is recommended for people who are:
- Feeling down
- Need motivation
- Suffering from a terminal illness
- Feeling little passion
- Aren’t living up to their full potential
The top 3 reasons you may enjoy this book:
- A moving memoir
- A personal story
- Unforgettable motivation
Sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to Rachel Johnson for this in-depth book review!
