I find the speaker to be quite conversational in tone. His manner is great for the image he creates, which is that of the boy next door. I think that he repeats certain points too often, but for many this may be necessary for affirmation to be understood.

His idea of a happy journal is a great way to jumpstart positive affirmations. In fact, I liked the idea of it as most diaries and journals are negative in nature and something to be hidden.
