How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Book Review
How to Win Friends & Influence People
This is perhaps one of the most well known self help books on shelves today. Many people know this book simply because it has amazing staying power, being that it was first published in 1937 and has gone on to sell more than 15 million copies! Other people know this book because it has changed their lives for the better. The book has been such a huge success because it is all about human nature, not pop psychology, which allows for it to be just as relevant today as it was when it was first published.
In the book, Carnegie teaches the readers that financial success is only due in small part to professional knowledge, as most of the success comes from being able to express ideas and influence the people around you. Carnegie goes onto teach skills to influence others through principals that allow for those around you to feel important and appreciated. This book should be considered a “must read” by all whom seek professional and financial success.
This book is recommended for people who are:
- Running their own business
- Working with others who are difficult to lead
- Leading a staff
- Looking for ways to get what they want without using people
- Interested in being a success
The top 3 reasons you may enjoy this book:
- It’s timeless
- The lessons taught are easy to apply
- It will teach you a lot about human nature
Sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to Rachel Johnson for this in-depth book review!
