About the Authors

A licensed psychologist, Gerald Corey is professor emeritus at California State University at Fullerton. Corey belongs to a number of respected psychological organizations, as well as teaches theory and ethics counseling courses.

A family and marriage therapist, Marianne Schneider Corey is a workshop facilitator for those in the human services industry. Together with Gerald, she holds training activities. She and Gerald were recipients of the Eminent Career Award (March 2001).

    This book was used for a college course I took several years ago. I still refer to the book and it is very motivational. I have referred it to several friends.I have even discussed it on facebook. As a mental health clinician, i refer to the book all the time and suggest people read the book for personal motivation and strength building.
