Leading with a Limp: Take Full Advantage of Your Most Powerful Weakness by Dan B. Allender
Book Review
Leading with a Limp: Take Full Advantage of Your Most Powerful Weakness
Leadership is something that a lot of people seek, but few people actually really succeed at. Author Dan Allender writes in his book about leaders, and sites the reason that most people do not succeed is because they are so busy trying to compensate for their weaknesses that they cannot lead with authority and sincerity. The author goes on to state that you should take advantage of your flaws and really put them out there if you want to lead, instead of hiding them.
The idea is that flawed leaders, called limping leaders by the author, are more authentic and this allows for them to more easily compel others to follow their lead. The idea behind the writing is that God actually favors those leaders who make the most of their brokenness. While other leadership guides will entice you to succeed in spite of your flaws, this book will instead tell you to flourish because of them. This is a new and interesting take and will be a great read for any Christian that is looking to lead with confidence and success.
This book is recommended for people who are:

The top 3 reasons you may enjoy this book:
