Quiet Strength: The Principles, Practices, and Priorities of a Winning Life
There are a lot of people out there who go through life compromising their family and their faith to get ahead, but you don’t have to. This is the message that Tony Dungy shares in his book Quiet Strength. Tony Dungy was the first African American NFL coach to take his team to the Super Bowl and his soft spirit has intrigued many on his way to success.
In the book Tony Dungy talks to the reader in a conversational style about how it is possible to lead people without screaming, to get respect without being overly assertive or demanding, and to make faith and family the center of your life. Dungy mulls over memories of how through it all he has remained true to his family and his faith by living a life for God and family. The writing will help the reader change their idea of what it means to succeed and how they can get there without compromising who they are or what they want in life.
