The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey

Book Review

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

This is perhaps one of the most profound books on the market today in terms of self-help or personal development books.  In this book Stephen Covey outlines what it is to be highly effective, not just in the professional aspects of your life but also in the personal aspects of your life.  The author has broken down habits or best practices of those who are the most effective in everything that they do.  The book is written in such a way that even the person who does not embrace any of these habits can read and understand them and even begin to apply them to their own life.

The book is written in a very motivational style and doesn’t leave the reader feeling put down, instead they are ready to be more effective in all areas of their life.  The author doesn’t use psychobabble and doesn’t use terms that the average reader cannot understand; this is simply a well-written manual on how to become the best that you can be.

This book is recommended for people who are:

  • Coaches
  • Teachers
  • Parents
  • Not as effective as they would like to be
  • Seeking a great personal development book

The top 3 reasons you may enjoy this book:

  • It’s a breath of fresh air
  • It’s like no other personal development book
  • It’s written in a clear and concise manner

Sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to Rachel Johnson for this in-depth book review!
