Level of Success (Part 2 of 2)
In Part 1 of “Level of Success” and we left off with some questions:
At the half-way point, are you half-way there? What immediate steps can you take to reach your level of success?…
Let’s break it down into the 2 main issues:
At the half-way point, are you half-way there?
It’s important to continually track your progress and ensure that your plan is realistic. At the half-way point, evaluate where are you and where you’ve been. If you’re doing better than you’ve planned, figure out why! Maybe you’re more efficient than usual, or you’ve figured out new ways of accomplishing the same task. If you’re not at the level that you wanted to be, determine the cause of concern. Perhaps you haven’t been sleeping well or there are too many distractions in the environment around you.
Once you’re half-way there, take a quick peek behind you to see your footsteps along the path. Determine whether the route taken was the most suitable for your goal. By continually evaluating yourself and your processes, you will see what was done well and what needs improvement.
What immediate steps can you take to reach your level of success?
When you set a timeline, make sure the starting point is now. That means immediately! Without delay! Instantly! Right Now! Get the hint?
I mean, let’s be honest, how many times have you heard someone say: “The diet starts this Monday!” or, “I’ll get to that tomorrow!” yet they didn’t follow through? With that unnecessary delay it’s far more likely that tomorrow becomes next week, and next week becomes next year, and so on.
If you aren’t taking action towards reaching your level of success, ask yourself a few questions:
Begin today! When you’re motivated, excited, and focused, you’ll achieve much more and at a much quicker pace too!
What if I reach my Level of Success?
I’m careful not to use the phrase “finish line” to describe your level of success. A finish line is a stopping point. A point where the competition ends and the crowd gives their final cheer, then goes home.
Well, success never stops! You either climb up the mountain or patter on down. A leader never become complacent. They achieve, they learn, and they constantly grow. If you’ve reached your level of success, set a new level. Break new barriers. Take your mind to a new world and challenge your way of thinking!
I want you to have the best and most fulfilling experiences of your life. Don’t ever settle for anything below your level of success. Strive to achieve what your heart and mind desire and you’ll find success in no time.
Have you found your level of success? Are you on the right path towards your goals? If not, what immediate steps can you take to get there?
